With abundant blessings from our Gurunathar, Jacksonville GOD/Gopa Kuteeram organized 3 special satsangs to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami during the first weekend of September. The first satsang was hosted by Sri Raj & Pratima Samaluru on Friday, Aug 31 in St. Johns. The second satsang of the series was hosted by Sri Ananth & Meera Ananth on Sunday, Sept 2 and the third one by Sri Gaurav & Monika Gupta.
Nama, as customary to satsangs in Jacksonville, was led by the children taking turns with the adults following their lead. Gopa Kuteeram children enjoy singing the Nama Ramayanam & Venu Geetham and it is a staple in all our satsangs. Katha shravanam on Aug 31, was about the charithram of Thiruppaanaazhwaar concluding with the Kondal vannanai pasuram. Janmashtami day katha shravanam was on Krishna Jananam and Govindha Pattabhishekam.
Sri Jagannath parivar who are in Jacksonville for the Rath Yathra on Sept 8, enjoyed all three satsangs and blessed all the devotees.
