By the immense krupa of Sri Sri Guruji, Madhuri Sakhi Sametha Premika Varadhan Thakurji, the birthday of our dearest Thakurji was celebrated in Namadwaar with a lot of gaiety & fervor. About 50 exuberant devotees participated in the 2-day Janmashtami mahotsavam. Namadwaar was beautifully decorated with flower arrangements, balloons, Thakuji happy birthday banners etc. All the devotees joined the celebrations in their traditional attires. The small gopas & gopis, dressed up like the gopas & gopis of Brindavan, brought joy and delight to everyone’s eyes.
Though the entire celebration was blissful, the highpoint of the utsavam was everyone continuously chanting the name “Gopal, Gopal” during the Nandotsavam celebration. The divine names of Thakurji, accompanied by musical instruments took everyone to blissful ecstasy.
Overall, the Janamashtami Mahotsavam was a very memorable & blissful celebration and gave all of us the feeling of being at Ashram with Sri Guruji.

- Kolattam by children, ladies. Divya namam by gentsUri adi by children
- Offering of seedai, murukku, birthday cake, chocolates & other bhakshanams to the lordships
- Pushpa varsham to Sri Guruji, Madhuri Sakhi sametha Premika Varadhan Thakurji
- Special prayers, followed by dolotsavam and dinner prasadam to all devotees
