By the immense grace of Madhuri Sakhi Sametha Premika Varadan and the causeless mercy of our beloved Sri Sri Guruji, after 8 longing years, UK GOD satsang was blessed to celebrate Krishna Jananam utsavam, as ordained by Guruji to all our satsang devotees across the world and based on the guidance published on Namadwaar website.
On the beautiful morning of September 9th 2018, at the residence of Smt Shyamala and Pradeep Rajagopalan an abundance of grace came together to celebrate the birth of our little Sri Krishna.
On a beautiful cradle handmade by Smt Shyamala Pradeep decorations were adorned to welcome the arrival of our Gopala. Sri Rajendran ji and Meenaji ,Sri Anand ji and Lakshmi ji, Sri Chandramurthy and Smt Hemalatha
Smt Sangeetaji and family. Sri Chandrakaanth ji and Uma ji from Norway were also present.
Umaji so beautifully coordinated and led the Utsavam. We started with Namakirtanam, followed by Parayanam of Srimad Bhagavatham 10th canto first 3 chapters. At the Janana sloka ‘Tam Adbhutam Balakam’, we all sang kirtans to welcome our beloved baby Krishna.
Thereafter, Anand ji graciously as Vasudeva, took our little Krishna across the Yamuna, and then transformed into Nanda baba and brought Krishna back. The ladies then dressed up little Nandalala and put him to sleep in the cradle, accompanied by kirtans that Uma ji sang, ‘Kaarirul Tanile’, ‘maninoopura dhari’ and ‘Madhava Mamava deva’.
We then sang prabodanam kirtans and offered milk and butter to our new born and thus started our Nandotsavam, singing, dancing and rejoicing the birth of our Chittachora.
Devotees danced to Kirtans and Namavalis and performed kolattam and kummi. Krishna was fed with sweets (milk khoa, gulab jamun, sweet poha, payasam), savouries (Cheedai, Tenkuzhal, Vadai), fruits and dry fruits. Anand ji and Lakshmi ji offered Beeja danam to all present.
Finally, we offered pooja and neivedyam to our beloved Guruji and concluded with Nama and prarthana kirtan.
We sincerely pray to our Guru Maharaj to bless us with ever flowing Nama, satsangs, Guru Bhakti and Krishna premai.
