Fond memories of bliss – Part 18
Once, when Sri Swamiji was on His way to the Ashram at Malaipet. At the Ashram gate, Sri Sri Swamiji saw a cute little boy, waiting for Him. The boy was astoundingly handsome and fair. Sri Sri Swamiji noticed this lad and wondered who he was. He did not remember such a boy being enrolled in the Veda Patashala, nor residing in the Ashram precincts any time earlier.
It is a usual practice that the parents of the Gurukulam students bring their other children (who are not Patashala students) when they come to meet their wards. Sri Sri Swamiji thought this lad must be one, and stepped into the ashram. The moment the boy saw Sri Sri Swamiji, he ran towards Bhagavata Bhavanam. Entranced by the little boy’s charm, Sri Sri Swamiji quickened his pace and followed him anxiously into the pooja hall of the Bhagavata Bhavanam. To His surprise, Sri Sri Swamiji found that the hall was empty and the little boy was no where to be found.
That was when Sri Sri Swamiji realized that it was verily Premika Varadan who waited eagerly at the entrance to see Swamiji and ran inside the moment he saw Swamiji.
