Fond memories of bliss – Part 42
Our Guru Maharaj used to say that not a single word that a Mahan speaks or a single action that he does is insignificant. I have experienced this many a time in the presence of our Guru Maharaj Himself.
Once Sri Sri Swamiji was on His way to attend a Kumbabhishekam of a temple in the North Arcot district of Tamil Nadu. Sri Jagadeesh, the Adhyapak of the Sandeepani Gurukulam was fortunate to accompany Guru Maharaj in the car to the event. All through the route, Sri Sri Swamiji went on discussing about one particular Mantra from the Vedas. He spoke repeatedly about the meaning and the pronunciation of this verse.
As soon as they reached the temple for consecration, Sri Swamiji alighted from the car followed by Sri Jagadeesh. In no time, the temple priest came forward to offer respects to Sri Sri Swamiji with ‘Poorna Kumbha’ . At this time, the priest chanted a particular mantra. Sri Jagadeesh who was standing beside Sri Swamiji was pleasantly surprised because it was the same Mantra that Sri Swamiji had been expounding to Sri Jagadeesh during the entire journey! Moreover, this mantra is rarely recited during the ‘Poorna Kumbha’!
